Farrah Albertie founded Anointed Purpose Media in March 2006, as a web design company that later evolved to a full service marketing and management agency. She presently serves as the Executive Director of APM, lending over 12 years of marketing, design, management, and music business experience to the company and its valued clientele.
She graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recording Industry Management (R.I.M), with minors in Business Administration & Mass Communications, from Middle Tennessee State University’s prestigious R.I.M Music Business program. While in attendance she enhanced her knowledge by participating in several internships, including one as Marketing Intern for a music marketing company that provided marketing services for GospoCentic & Curb Records. She also worked in the capacity of Intern 2 years straight for the National Association of Recording Merchandisers. Furthermore, while enrolled, she was an active member of several business and entertainment organizations including Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and the Urban Music Society, where she acted as Marketing Director for 2 years.
Upon graduation, Ms. Albertie was instrumental in the launch of two independent record labels, acting as co-founder and Marketing Director. She later co-founded and served as Executive Director for a non- profit humanitarian organization that caters to orphans in Haiti and Liberia. Furthermore, her experience in Graphic and Web Design spans more than 10 years, including serving 2 years as a contract Web Developer for the United States military, as well as the largest web design corporation in the United States.
In response to the ever evolving media and business world, Farrah continues to expand her knowledge and business savvy, so that she can continue to be a valued asset to APM as its Executive Director. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Communications and Information Technology from the University of Denver and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
