Creative Design Internships

Creative Design Interns will assist APM in effectively creating visually appeasing designs for our clients and the company. We have 2 separate internship positions within the Creative Design department: Graphic Design, Web Design and Multimedia Design, each with its own requirements. Please see the information below for more information.

Graphic Design

Assisting with design of logos and business stationary for company and clients.
Assisting with design of flyers, printed material, posters, banners, visual displays, t-shirts and other promotional materials for company and clients.
Assisting with design of web graphics including, banners, flyers and widgets for use on the internet.
Assisting with design of graphics for use in video and other multimedia presentations.
Assisting with watermarking and editing photography.

Web Design

Assisting with design, development and maintenance of client and company websites.
Assisting with design of web graphics including, banners, flyers and widgets for use on the internet.
Assisting with content development for blogs and websites.
Assisting with design and maintenance of client and company social networks.

Creative Design Intern Requirements:

All Creative Design Interns

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be enrolled in college.
Three (3) month minimum commitment required.
Must commit to a minimum of 10-15 hrs per week.
Must follow policies stated in the APM Intern Handbook.
Must have daily access to computer with high speed internet connection.
Must possess basic skills/experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Web Based Email and the Internet
Must meet all project requirements and deadlines
Must provide supervisor with up to date contact information including at least one phone number
A cell phone is highly recommended.
Track your time using Time Tracking Software (provided)
Must submit a report of all postings and activities to your supervisor by assigned due date.

Additional requirements

Graphic Design Interns

Must possess basic to intermediate skills/experience in Adobe Photoshop or comparable graphic design program.
Basic to intermediate skills/experience in Adobe Illustrator and Design preferred by not required.
Must provide us with examples of your work.

Web Design Interns

Must possess basic to intermediate skills in Adobe Dreamweaver or comparable web design program
Must possess basic to intermediate skills in CSS & xHTML
Must possess basic to intermediate skills in Adobe Photoshop or comparable graphic design program
Basic to intermediate skills/experience in Wordpress, Ning and/or Business Catalyst preferred, but not required.
Must provide us with examples of your work.

Creative Intern Benefits and Compensation:
